Second Installment Charge: $2,065 each applicant. Payable before visa grant. The second installment charge is payable for every adult applicant, which means you must pay $4,130 both parents.

• Bridging visa will be granted for 804 visa You can legally stay in Australia while waiting for the 804 visa. Having bridging visa is the biggest advantage for aged parent visa applicants, this is because DHA consider most aged parents are at their senior age and cannot travel safely. The bridging visa will allow them to stay in Australia and do not have to travel frequently due to short visa duration. However, due to extremely slow processing of 804 visa. Parents might need to hold the bridging visa for 30 years.

The Department of Home Affairs does not estimate processing times for all parent visas. Applications for these visas are subject to capping and queueing. However, the DHA estimate it will take at least 30 years for the parent visa (103 and 804) to be assessed by a case officer.
